Hey guys, heres a nice lil update for ya. With winter in full effect, we havent had much time to film for burly, luckily mother nature took it easy on us today, and yesterday. The Documentary

In January, im going to start filming the TCP 2008 documentary for my digital media 1 class. I didnt shoot this part for this assignment, but for the original DOC that i was gunna release. Anyways i just threw this together super quick. Expect the real one out in February, with interviews in HD hopefully.

A fresh breath of air from WNY

Lately, i have seen and heard of alot of shitty, up and comming bands around this area. The list is unimaginable and ranges from crust punk to emo to grindcore. Now, i can say i enjoy a select few, but through all of this, emerges a new band. LIONS...is the name, and they literally sound JUST like explosions in the sky, but with their own unique say in the songs. Check them out at http://www.myspace.com/l10nz .

just wanted to say that this season was sick.i have never seen anything close to the new talent that we have seen this year at TCP. Everyday skating there has been great nobody goes home without learning something new.
and Tony man, holy shit, ollieing the whole platform, that was sick.
thanks to all the sunday guy that came out and skated. times are great.
see everyone next year. and to those that didnt come out this year cause you didnt have a board or you were doing sometin dumb. get a board and come skate or just show up and hang out some one there might have a board you can use and if not its always fun just to hang, so do it up.

All Hallows Eve Jam!

As Halloween approaches, its sure that TCP will be hosting the 1st annual Halloween Jam! Im gunna try and get some candy and shit, no prizes this year though. Just some fun with all the bros, and what not. Dressing up is not required but recommended. J.P. Gillespie from sunday is said to possibly make an appearance and who knows who he will bring along? Everyone come out for some good times!

3 on 3 Tourny / Gypsy Tour 2009

Whats up guys, Zach here once again, throwin up a post from BOCES. Recently my mom had forced me to throw out my old basketball net, and you know how they say "one mans garbage, is another mans treasure", well in this case such a saying was greatly applied. The net now has a good home at the Tennis Courts where many games of basketball have gone down already. Be on the lookout for a possibly 2 on 2, or 3 on 3 tournament sign up sheet, so get your teams ready.


In other news, though far away, we are already gathering up people to participate in the 3 day "Gypsy Tour", which will take place in the summer of 2009. The idea is what it seems, we live like gypsies for 3 days and skate till our little hearts can no longer do so. The plan for this isnt really set yet, but if you want in on this then make sure to tell me sooner then later. And NO you do not need to skateboard to participate. You atleast need a bike. TCP08 comes to and end.

not for good though.Today the lady came and talked to us and said she wants ALL THE SCRAP WOOD and stuff we do not need outside the fence by sunday, for garbage.
But, we can keep the ramps in there and everything we NEED for a couple more weeks,so saturday/sunday are massive cleaning/skating days and everyday after that we have it, is also skating days and filming too since we need to finish this monty!
EVERYONE COME HELP,SKATE AND CELEBRATE THE ENDING OF THIS SEASON!We WILL be back for the 2009 spring/summer season for sure

TCP Summer 2009 funds/plans

Hey all, Zach here once again with a little info on the courts for next year. As this season is possibly soon coming to an end, we start to look into next years plans for the courts. This is where you come in. Since we are a group supported park, we are looking for all you guys out there to chip in any money youd like to me, so i can put it away for the building of new obstacles next year. Cinder block ledges, quarter pipes and new inclines are just a few in mind, but money will also go to other various events that youll need to stay tuned in here at HR for. SO DONATE PEOPLE! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SKATE SCENE.

TCP change/Apologies

Hey guys, zach here. Id like to say, that im sorry for the lack of updates lately...3 weeks. Jimmy has yet to get the photos developed of the newly remodeled park and im still waiting on my capture cam, which should be here soon. But check back within the next few days or so, to see new pictures of TCP. TCP montage 2 is also in the works right now, so keep a look out for that. Heres a nice little video, of my current favorite skater, Richie Jackson, to keep you alive.

For the past month, ive been suppppper into Mike Mo Capaldi. With him dropping the fucking insane Fully Flared part, to going pro in early June, the kid is basically the future of skateboarding. Canal Festivities

Hey guys, Zach here, with a little non photo, or video update. Today marked the first day of the who knows what annual T-NT Canal Fest. Now, you may ask yourself, why am i mentioning this? Well, its not much, but canal fest last year brought together some of the Tonawanda and NT rippers together to skate. So its always a good time when the fake fantasy island comes rolling through NT. Zach here again, just to inform you how the picture posting are gunna work. If you look at the first post, theres one picture out of the scroll box, and the rest are inside of it. The picture outside, is the featured picture, or the favorite one that was taken. The rest inside the scroll box, are just the others he took. Those are also good pictures but the featured is our favorite. Alright thats all.
